THE CORE

Ci Data Platform

Every number in one place. Nothing moved to get it there.

One agnostic core reads Investran, eFront, Allvue, or your own ledger and turns them into a single source of truth. Every number lands once and is calculated once, so your managers and their investors see the same figure.

HOW IT WORKS

Your numbers are right. The work is proving it. The Ci Data Platform gives funds, investors, positions and capital activity a single origin and a single calculation, in one auditable structure – so the auditor's question is a click, not a project.

CAPABILITIES

What the core does.

Your ledger stays the system of record

Connectivity is read-only, and enforced rather than assumed: the account we connect with holds read permission only, so a write attempt is refused. The core reads what your accounting systems produce, so nothing you rely on is altered or overwritten, and nothing depends on us to keep working.

Calculated once, consistent everywhere

Every measure is calculated once, at the core. A manager and their investor read the same figure because there is only one figure.

Any source, any structure

The core is agnostic about where data comes from – your own ledger, systems you inherited, providers you didn't choose. New funds and vehicles – closed-end PE, evergreen, hedge, blocker/AIV – are stood up entirely through guided screens: fund, books, and fiscal year created with zero migrations, every structure change under dual-control audit.

More in Ci Data Platform

  • Any system can connect

An open API means any accounting or ledger system can feed the core, including your own.

  • Sources connect once

A system is connected once and keeps delivering after that. Nobody re-sends anything at period end, and nobody waits on a file.

  • Traceable to the source transaction

Every figure expands to the dated source transactions beneath it – a direct lookup, not a reconstruction.

  • Entitlements set once

Who sees what is defined once at the core and honored by both the GP and LP surfaces. One permission set, applied wherever the numbers appear.

  • Isolated per client and per fund

Each client's data sits in its own database; funds within it are separated by authorization-enforced access controls. The model is shared; the data never is.

  • A separate address and database for every client

Each client's data runs on its own address and its own database. The model is shared; the data never is.

HOW IT FITS

Over your systems. Not in place of them.

The core doesn't do fund accounting, calculate NAV, or act as transfer agent. Those stay where they are, with the systems and people handling them today. What the core does is read what they produce, bring it into one structure, and serve it to your managers and their investors – which is why adopting it needs no migration and no change to how your books are kept.
